Job summary

Dover Food Retail seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team in a highly automated environment in Richmond, VA. You will supervise and develop staff, schedule work, and ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include evaluating systems, planning maintenance projects, and supporting budgets. Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematic literacy and conveyor/ powder coating experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a leadership position (team lead, supervisor, etc.).
• At least five years of maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Hires and trains maintenance department staff.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
• Develop maintenance procedures and schedules.
