Job summary

Vesta Management, TX, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead the maintenance operations at Marshall Meadows Apartment Homes in San Antonio, TX. This hands-on role requires a proven track record in apartment community maintenance, a focus on safety, appearance, and operational excellence, and the ability to manage staff and contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in apartment maintenance.
• Apartment community experience required.
• HVAC Type I and II required.
• Knowledge of 3rd party government agency inspection protocol (REAC, etc.).
• Experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations to meet safety, appearance, and operating standards within budget.
• Manage inventory and ready apartments to support leasing efforts; schedule and supervise staff and contractors.
• Inspect completed make-ready apartments for move-in; handle on-call duties and emergencies.
• Lead capital projects including bidding and vendor coordination; develop scopes of work and ensure quality.
• Maintain records and communicate with Property Manager; ensure safe and compliant operations.
