Job summary

American Fruits and Flavors, LLC is seeking Maintenance Mechanics to join our growing team in California. The role focuses on maintaining all buildings, structures, and production equipment in top condition, with opportunities to train others and lead in technical applications.

Candidates should have skilled knowledge across maintenance trades, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, read and write English, and operate CAMS.

Qualifications

• Must have skilled working knowledge across maintenance crafts with strong expertise in at least one trade.
• Ability to read, write and speak English for administrative tasks.
• Must own basic hand tools as described by Maintenance Dept.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform maintenance from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Use carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and welding tools; operate power tools as needed.
• Maintain production and support equipment in good working order; document repairs.
• Submit orders for supplies and materials for maintenance tasks.
• Lead in installations of new equipment and manage work orders.
• Ensure production areas are safe and sanitary; enter time sheets daily.
• Respond to emergencies during off-hours as needed.
• Enforce departmental policies and lead by example.
