Job summary

Binderholz is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Lead Technician for our Enfield, NC plant to maintain production assets and mentor the shift team. You will diagnose and repair hydraulic/mechanical systems, calibrate conveyors, and support installation of equipment to maximize uptime.

The role requires extensive heavy industry experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive safety mindset to keep operations running smoothly and safely across shifts.

Qualifications

• Heavy industry mechanical systems troubleshooting experience.
• Calibrate and align high-speed equipment to millimeter precision.
• Strong safety leadership and LOTO protocol enforcement.
• Ability to lead through downtime and high-pressure situations.
• Experience with industrial automation and PLC troubleshooting.
• Expertise with precision diagnostic tools and testing gear.
• Welding and fabrication for heavy-duty structures.
• Experience using CMMS to track run-hours and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance, or service of production facilities.
• Mentor and train mechanic shift team.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical or hydraulic system components.
• Install complementary manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical system parts.
• Support reconstruction and optimization projects.
• Provide assistance to other workers as needed.
• Follow safety and work procedures.
• Engage supervisor/management during high-downtime situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
