Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to keep our distribution center running smoothly. You will diagnose and repair complex equipment, prioritize tasks, and mentor other mechanics while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will work in critical areas such as conveyors, rolling stock, or building systems, collaborating with colleagues and management to maintain optimal operation and safety across the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience.
• Two specialty areas with 2 years each.
• Experience repairing electrical/electronic voltages (51-599) volt systems and above.
• Must lift 25–70 pounds and work safely with corrosives and heights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain certification as required by state/local regulations.
• Ensure safety and use PPE, lock-out/tag-out.
• Plan and execute maintenance tasks, diagnose and repair.
• Lead and mentor team members, train less experienced staff.
• Document equipment status and work performed in CMMS.
• Develop expertise in at least two specialty areas while maintaining basic repair skills across all areas.
