Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to keep our distribution center running smoothly. You will diagnose and repair complex equipment, lead junior mechanics, and mentor utility staff, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

You will also handle preventive maintenance across conveyors, rolling stock, and building systems, coordinating with management and teammates to maximize uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Maintenance experience
• 2 years in each of two specialty areas
• Experience repairing and providing technical training in standard electrical/electronic voltages (51-599) volt systems and above
• Proven safety record and ability to follow safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintains certification as required by state/local regulations
• Ensures safety in all tasks and uses PPE
• Plans and executes maintenance tasks including evaluation of equipment condition and parts
• Leads and mentors team members and provides training
• Maintains accurate documentation in CMMS
• Develops expertise in at least two specialty areas and maintains basic repair skills across all areas
