Aerotek in Lockport, NY is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a permanent onsite role on 1st shift. You will lead day-to-day maintenance, support two extrusion lines, and stay hands-on with the mechanical work.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and work with production to minimize downtime. The role offers a competitive hourly pay of $25.00-$30.00, DOE, with Medical, Dental & Vision benefits and ongoing training.

Formación

• Manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pumps, motors, bearings and gearboxes.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Leadership experience or interest in overseeing others.
• Hands-on, team-first mentality.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support a small maintenance team (1-2 employees).
• Own preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment issues.
• Support two extrusion lines operating 24/7.
• Maintain hydraulics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and bearings.
• Perform inspections, lubrication, oil changes, and equipment adjustments.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Work closely with production to minimize downtime.
• Help drive continuous improvement and department organization.
