Heritage Trail Correctional Facility, operated by the State of Indiana in Plainfield, Indiana, seeks a maintenance foreman to oversee preventive maintenance and repairs. You will supervise offender maintenance workers under standard trade practices and report to a maintenance supervisor.

The position starts around $42,900 annually and offers a broad benefits package. A valid driver’s license is required; a high degree is not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of electrical systems, carpentry, plumbing and painting trades.
• Ability to plan, schedule and supervise job sites.
• Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and remediation plans.

Responsibilities

• Solicit cost estimates or cost proposals.
• Estimate costs and work hours for maintenance projects.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs of facilities.
