Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is hiring a Maintenance Engineer for a food & consumer products facility in west central Iowa. The role leads maintenance execution, improves reliability, and manages plant projects to keep production running smoothly.

You’ll build and strengthen preventive maintenance programs, lead a team, and ensure safety and food-safety standards are met while delivering capital projects with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of manufacturing maintenance or engineering experience
• 2 years leading a team
• Experience in maintenance, engineering and capital projects
• Background in food, beverage, or consumer products manufacturing
• Strong mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills and CMMS experience
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team; set priorities and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Improve preventive and predictive maintenance, work orders, and equipment performance.
• Plan and deliver capital projects with minimal disruption to production.
• Maintain strong safety, food safety, and environmental practices.
