Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Mason City, Iowa seeks a Plant Engineer to lead the maintenance and engineering department in a fast-paced food manufacturing plant. You will oversee capital projects and drive maintenance strategies to maximize line uptime and product flow, deploying preventive and predictive maintenance, TPM, and advanced technology improvements.

As the engineering leader, you will manage a team, ensure safety and compliance, and communicate effectively across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; 8+ years’ relevant experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
• Food manufacturing experience.
• Change management experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Advanced technical skills in mechanical/electrical fields (PLCs, instrumentation).
• Knowledge of maintenance systems and TPM.

Responsibilities

• Capital projects from concept to completion.
• Schedule all project elements to minimize disruption to plant operations; deliver on time and on budget with safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement cutting-edge maintenance systems for peak performance.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance, TPM, and related strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team; delegate tasks and enforce policies.
• Provide short-term fixes and long-term solutions to operational challenges; troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure maintenance performance.
