Job summary

Resource Renew, the brand of Western Lake Superior Sanitary District, seeks a Full-Time Lead Maintenance Electrician to champion optimization of electrical, mechanical and instrumentation systems while mentoring a team of skilled technicians. This role provides hands-on technical expertise, ensures safe work practices, and supports reliable plant operations.

You will apply knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs (Allen-Bradley), and maintenance best practices to drive reliability,

Qualifications

• Completion of a post-secondary program in electrical maintenance, electrical engineering or related field; five years' experience in wastewater treatment plant or similar industrial facility, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technicians to optimize electrical, mechanical and instrumentation systems.
• Provide hands-on technical expertise and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and PLCs.
• Ensure safe work practices and contribute to reliable plant operations.
• Drive safety, reliability and continuous improvement across operations.
