Charter Senior Living of Winder is seeking a hands-on Dining Services Director / Executive Chef to build a brand-new dining program for a senior living community in Winder, GA. The role requires ServSafe-certified culinary leadership, budgeting, and team development to deliver exceptional resident dining experiences.

The candidate will establish dining operations, recruit and train staff, manage menus, and lead the opening of a new community with a focus on hospitality and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen, dining department, or food service operation.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food-safety credential.
• Experience managing food service budgets, purchasing, inventory, and costs.
• Ability to recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop culinary and dining services teams from setup through ongoing operations.
• Establish dining operations, standards, menus, and resident dining experiences.
• Create staffing plans, schedules, and labor budgets.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and food costs, with an emphasis on quality and safety.
• Partner with leadership to prepare for resident move-ins and openings.
