Job Summary

The Lead Maintenance is responsible for the overall maintenance of the property, performing repairs, and assisting in preparing units for rent under the supervision of the Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist with distribution of flyers and materials.
• Perform HVAC repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance tasks.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in common areas and units.
• Supervise subcontractors and maintain records of maintenance activities.
• Participate in emergency on-call duties and property inspections.

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• EPA refrigerant certification.
• Own basic hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to work at different locations and travel as needed.
• Ability to work some weekends.

Education & Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, walk and climb stairs, and work in various weather conditions.
