HCLTech is seeking a highly talented and self-motivated Mainframe Lead Consultant to join our team in Portland, OR. This full-time role focuses on leading mainframe tracks, delivering COBOL/IMS/DB2 solutions, and providing production support with escalation management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Mainframe Track Lead in relevant domains.
• 10+ years of Mainframe COBOL, IMS/DB2 support and development experience.
• Analytical skills to analyze business functions in COBOL/IMS/DB2 programs.
• Experience with abend troubleshooting and prompt solutions.
• On-call/production support with escalation management tools such as SNOW.
• Delivery ownership and teamwork across tracks.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mainframe track activities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Provide COBOL/IMS/DB2 development and support across applications.
• Troubleshoot program abends and deliver timely fixes.
• Manage on-call rotation and escalation with appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with team members to own track deliverables.
