FIS in Columbus, GA is seeking an experienced software professional to design, code, test, and maintain applications across the software development lifecycle. You will participate in planning, design, and delivery of complex solutions, while ensuring standards, documentation, and data integrity.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems or related field.
Typically 6+ years of professional coding, designing, developing and analyzing data.
Cobol, IMS, & DB2 required.

Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle utilizing Agile Scrum methodology in the creation of new software products
Design, create, and deliver moderately complex program specifications for code development and support on multiple projects/issues with a wide understanding of the application / database to better align interactions and technologies
Provide broad and in-depth knowledge of analysis, modification, and development of complex code/unit testing in order to develop concise application documentation.
Advise leadership on the design, development and enforcement of business / infrastructure application standards to include associated controls, procedures and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Be responsible for maintaining project and system documentation and negotiating timelines with the product owner
