Job summary

REalloys Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Magnet Scientist to lead development and optimization of magnetic materials and technologies. You will conduct research, design experiments, and collaborate with engineers and scientists to translate discoveries into practical applications.

The role requires a Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, or Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of magnetics experience; proficiency in synthesis, characterization, data analysis, and magnetic simulation.

Qualifications

Ph.D. required in a relevant field (Materials Science, Physics, or Electrical Engineering).
3–5 years minimum experience in magnetics R&D, preferably in industry or academia.
Proficiency with magnetic material synthesis, characterization techniques, and data analysis.
Experience with magnetic simulation software and related tools.
Strong understanding of magnetization, hysteresis, and magnetic domains.

Responsibilities

Lead R&D efforts to develop and optimize magnetic materials and technologies.
Design and conduct experiments to measure magnetic properties and analyze results.
Develop innovative magnetic solutions for multiple applications.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and scientists to integrate materials into products.
Prepare technical reports and presentations communicating progress.
