Okta seeks a seasoned Software Engineer to join the macOS/iOS team within our Device Identity and Access pillar. You will architect, build, and scale security‑driven client software that underpins identity across enterprise endpoints, partnering with product and design to deliver measurable business impact.

You will mentor engineers, drive high‑quality code through CI/CD, and explore AI‑native development patterns to keep Okta ahead.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with macOS/iOS Swift
• Expertise in macOS/iOS environments including performance and security
• Proficient in debugging with Xcode, LLDB, Instruments
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence direction

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA for critical initiatives.
• Design and implement new features and services end-to-end.
• Mentor Staff and Senior engineers; raise engineering bar.
• Enforce code standards with automated testing and CI/CD.
• Create technical docs; promote knowledge sharing.
• Work with AI-native engineering practices to accelerate delivery.
• Prototype solutions for emerging trends like device security.
