Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Machinist - Level 4 who will help ensure machining processes run efficiently, safely, and to quality standards while coordinating with other departments to meet production goals. You will lead a team of skilled technicians, drive continuous improvement, and uphold high quality through lean manufacturing principles.
This role supports 1st Shift: Monday–Friday 6 am–3:30 pm, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to advance within a global aerospace leader.
Qualifications
- Experience as skilled machinist using CNC lathe/mill, band saw, sheet metal shears and drop gauge.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with precision measurement tools and quality control.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for machine maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machining tools to produce precision parts.
- Interpret drawings, blueprints and specs to determine operations.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings for tolerances.
- Inspect parts with precision instruments for quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and minimize downtime.
