Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking a Lead Engineer Tech II to lead engineering projects in the Aero Electronic Solutions domain. The position is based in Minneapolis, MN with an on-site work schedule, reporting to engineering management.

You will drive development of advanced electronic solutions, coordinate activities, and ensure high-quality, compliant outcomes. Responsibilities include setup and operation of fabrication equipment, jig/tool creation, CAD-based part fabrication, and ensuring

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience as a machinist or toolmaker.
• Experience interpreting standards and engineering specs.
• Experience with inertial navigations devices and systems.
• Experience with TIG/MIG welding and small parts assembly.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operation and maintenance of equipment to fabricate hardware.
• Create, repair and modify jigs and tools.
• Fabricate parts from 2D drawings and CAD files.
• Maintain and alter mechanical assemblies using manual and automated machinery.
