Toolcraft Precision Machining, LLC. is seeking a skilled Lead Machinist (2nd shift) to oversee day-to-day operations on 2nd shift at our Germantown, WI facility.

The Lead Machinist ensures jobs run efficiently, quality standards are met, and production schedules are maintained. The role serves as liaison between machinists, quality, scheduling and management—supporting team members, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement to meet on-time delivery goals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor job performance and adjust speeds/feeds; address schedule/OTD issues.
• Review scheduling, reports, and material availability to ensure proper planning.
• Check tool requirements and routing updates for production.
• Coordinate shift hand-off and staging of materials for next shift.
• Coordinate with quality for in-process and first-piece inspections.
