Job summary

Toolcraft Machining, Inc. seeks an experienced CNC machinist for the second shift in Germantown, WI. You will take handoffs, set up and run multi‑axis mill/turns, lathes, and VMCs on DMG MORI machines with Siemens controls and Doosan PUMA turning centers.

Expect precise GD&T work, tool offsets, and on‑control edits as needed. You will read blueprints, plan sequences, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances inside .002 inch.

Qualifications

• Five+ years setting up and running CNC machining centers (turning, VMC, boring mill, or multi‑axis).
• Fluent in GD&T, blueprint reading, and G‑Code programming/editing.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs and work on second shift.
• Experience in a job-shop environment is a plus; knowledge of live tooling is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi‑axis mill/turns, CNC lathes, boring bars, and VMCs.
• Interpret blueprints/models/routings to plan sequence and tolerances.
• Select tooling, set offsets, and build setups with fixtures and clamps.
• Dial in speeds/feeds, edit programs at the control when needed, and monitor tool wear.
• Inspect in‑process and final parts to GD&T standards with precision gauges.
• Maintain a clean, production‑ready work area at shift end.
