Job summary

Brunswick is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the machining process and drive continuous quality improvements. You will supervise a team of Quality Technicians and partner with plant departments to meet quality objectives while reducing waste and variation.

Ideal candidates have experience in aluminum machining, familiarity with PPAP, GD&T, and ISO 9001:2015, and strong communication skills to lead cross-functional teams on corrective actions and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing or Quality Engineer.
• Knowledge of PPAP and Process FMEA for current/new product launches.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure quality activities in manufacturing and support functions to meet objectives.
• Deliver quality support to production with emphasis on engine machining.
• Execute root cause analysis and drive to reduce defects and rework.
• Improve processes to reduce variability and eliminate special causes using DMAIC.
• Coordinate inspections and work with internal audits to ensure ISO procedures.
