Job summary

Wabash in Texas is seeking a driven manufacturing supervisor associate who will assist the supervisor to meet production goals and coordinate workforce and workflow within the department. You will perform semiskilled manual duties, plan and organize work, train associates, and help with inspections and reports.

Qualifications

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have ability to exercise independent judgment.
• High School degree or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred for this position.
• Demonstrated good people skills required. Must be a team player.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Must possess general working knowledge of department tools, techniques and processes.
• Must have ability to learn and run required computer applications. Must possess required math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must have ability to understand and apply engineering specifications, Change Orders, Production Orders and Standard Operating Procedures. Good problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime.
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be able to drive forklift

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor to meet production goals and coordinate workforce and workflow within the department.
• Perform semiskilled manual duties requiring knowledge of techniques, tools, equipment, safety precautions, and quality programs.
• Plan and organize work assignments; complete reports and paperwork as assigned.
• Train and coach new and existing associates; monitor productivity.
• May be required to perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
• Ensure work quality meets company standards; maintain good attendance; willing to work overtime.
• May assist supervisor with job assignments, attendance tracking, meetings, inventory control, inspections.
