Formulated Solutions in Largo, FL seeks a Lead Machine Operator I to guide a production team through filling and packaging lines, ensuring quality and efficiency while maintaining batch records and compliance with regulations.

You will lead a crew, monitor line performance, perform basic math and recordkeeping, and uphold safety standards. The role requires strong English communication and the ability to work long shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Dependable transportation.
• Speak and understand English fluidly.
• Communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
• Work shifts that may exceed 10 or 12 hours when asked.
• Past production work experience of 5 plus years.

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packaging equipment.
• Receive production goals and requirements from the area Production Supervisor to maintain the production schedule.
• Ensure shift start/end times are adhered to and report issues.
• Retrieve Batch Records and other needed documents from the quality department.
• Review Batch Records to understand and request training when needed.
• Ensure materials have been properly picked for the production order.
• Set up production line for specific production requirements per batch record.
• Review materials for correctness against BOM and report discrepancies.
• Ensure all assemblers are signed into batch records.
• Lead Production Assemblers, discuss process, quality attributes, and goals.
• Ensure proper PPE use for tasks and review safety instructions with assemblers.
• Assign personnel to cleaning and production tasks as needed.
• Comply with quality, safety, and company policies; report concerns to area Supervisor.
• Monitor quality attributes and perform quality checks as required.
• Stop production if needed to ensure safety and product quality.
• Document all data and tasks per batch record.
• Maintain equipment and area logs and cleanliness.
• Communicate with management, quality, and maintenance teams.
