Job summary

Precision Profiles and Manufacturing in Doswell, VA is seeking a Lead Machine Operator – Manufacturing for a Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM on-site role. This hands-on position focuses on operating and troubleshooting equipment to keep the production line moving.

You will set up machines, perform changeovers, inspect products for quality, track production data, and guide teammates while developing your skills and taking on more responsibility over time.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Experience setting up machines and performing changeovers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand all shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and assist with daily production.
• Set up machines, perform changeovers, and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Help keep production moving and jobs on schedule.
• Work with the team and provide guidance when needed.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Track production, measurements, and other basic data.
