Job summary

Mosaic is seeking a Lead Machine Operator for its manufacturing floor. This hands-on role focuses on operating and troubleshooting machinery, coordinating daily production, and ensuring quality products move off the line on schedule.

You don't need a formal supervisor title, but you will guide teammates, identify process improvements, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment on a Monday–Friday day shift on-site in Virginia.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on manufacturing experience in machine operation.
• Experience setting up machines, changeovers or troubleshooting equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Comfortable using a computer for basic production tracking.
• Dependable, organized and willing to take ownership of work.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience training or guiding other employees is a plus.

We're looking for an experienced Machine Operator who's ready to take the next step in their career.

This isn't a desk job. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, knows how to operate and troubleshoot equipment, and can help keep a busy production floor running smoothly.

You'll work alongside our production team, operate machinery, help coordinate daily production, and make sure we're getting quality products out the door.

You don't need to have "Lead" or "Supervisor" in your current job title. If you're a dependable, experienced machine operator who takes pride in their work and naturally helps others get the job done, we'd like to hear from you.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or mechanical equipment.
• Experience setting up machines, performing changeovers, or troubleshooting equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Comfortable using a computer for basic production tracking.
• Dependable, organized, and willing to take ownership of your work.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Experience helping train or guide other employees is a plus, but not required.

Previous supervisory experience is NOT required.
