Job summary

Liberty Diversified International, Inc. in Golden Valley, MN is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to safely produce quality corrugated products.

You will set up orders, perform quality checks, and monitor production metrics while leading a small crew to maximize efficiency. The role reports to a Production Supervisor at our Golden Valley facility and requires availability for overtime, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus 3+ years in manufacturing or 4+ years manufacturing experience in lieu of education.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”.
• Computer skills: typing, printing, data entry.
• Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Reading and following detailed work instructions.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up orders per customer specs and prepare tools for the job.
• Perform first article and in-process quality checks to ensure quality.
• Enter production metrics into the system to track progress and downtime.
• Communicate equipment issues to leaders and assist in troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance to Assistant Machine Operators as needed.
• Support maintenance with minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and follow safety processes.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
