Job summary

HURST is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in a long‑term care facility. The role requires adherence to current standards and the ability to coordinate nursing services to maintain high‑quality resident care.

You will handle charting, medication administration, orders transcription, discharge planning support, and participation in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess Nursing Degree and active LVN license.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and maintain facility standards.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with facility policies.
• Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and related documentation.
• Complete accident/incident reports as required.
• Chart nurses' notes and transcribe physicians' orders.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and discharge planning.
