Job summary

PACS Group is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee nursing assistants in a long-term care facility in Texas. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and work under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services to maintain high-quality resident care.

You will supervise shifts, review policies, and participate in quality assurance and surveys.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
• Ability to lead and supervise nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the facility.
• Meet with your shift’s nursing personnel to plan the services, programs, and activities.
• Ensure that Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and reflects day-to-day nursing procedures.
• Participate in the facility’s quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
