Job summary

DC Builders is seeking an Architectural Designer III to lead the design and documentation of luxury custom residential projects. You will manage Revit models and prepare permit-ready drawings, coordinating with sales, operations, clients, consultants, and jurisdictions to ensure design intent and schedules are met.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of professional architectural design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Experience with high-end residential detailing and consultant coordination.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, assemblies, and documentation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and documentation of luxury custom residential projects from schematic design through permit-ready documents.
• Develop and manage Revit models and plan sets for coordinated drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules).
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, clients, consultants, and jurisdictions to align scope, schedule, quality, and design intent.
• Guide design decisions and integration of technical inputs with internal and external teams.
• Improve workflows, templates, and drafting standards to reduce rework and raise design excellence.
