Job summary

DC Builders seeks an Architectural Designer III to lead the design and documentation of luxury custom residential projects. You will develop Revit models, coordinate with clients and consultants, and drive design decisions to ensure premium outcomes.

With 8–10+ years of experience and a strong eye for detail, you will ensure documentation is accurate, constructible, and compliant with codes while collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Construction teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Architecture or related field.
• 8–10+ years of professional architectural design and documentation.
• Experience with high-end residential detailing and consultant coordination preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, assemblies, and documentation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and documentation of luxury custom residential projects.
• Develop and manage Revit models and plans from schematic through permit-ready docs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, clients, consultants, and jurisdictions.
• Perform code and zoning research early to support approvals and respond to comments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Construction to align expectations.
• Improve workflows, templates, and standards for quality.
