Job summary

DC Builders is seeking an Architectural Designer III to lead the design and documentation of luxury custom residential projects, translating client goals into architectural direction with refined composition.

The ideal candidate has advanced Revit capabilities, strong design judgment, and the ability to independently manage projects from schematic design through permit-ready documentation while coordinating with Sales, Operations, clients, consultants, and jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 8–10+ years of professional architectural design and documentation.
• Experience with high-end residential detailing and premium materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and documentation of luxury custom residential projects.
• Develop and manage Revit models and plan sets from schematic design through permit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, clients, consultants, and jurisdictions to align scope, schedule, quality, and design intent.
• Perform code and zoning research and incorporate permitting requirements early.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Construction to ensure alignment and quality outcomes.
• Improve workflows, templates, and drafting standards to reduce rework and increase clarity.
