Job summary

Neighbor Interiors in Southlake, TX seeks a Senior Designer to lead design for luxury new construction, large-scale renovations, and furnishings projects.

You’ll oversee interior architecture, space planning, material selections, FF&E, and project execution, with ownership from kickoff to closeout while mentoring junior designers. This role emphasizes client leadership, collaboration with architects and builders, and growth within the studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design from an accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years in luxury residential interior design with ground-up custom homes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; strong Microsoft skills for presentations.
• Familiar with Studio Designer and Asana.
• Track record of leading projects independently from kickoff to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Proactively lead interior architecture, space planning, and material selections.
• Develop creative, innovative design solutions.
• Specify finishes, lighting, plumbing, appliances, and full FF&E.
• Guide clients through decisions, educating on investment value.
• Direct and mentor the design team on each project.
• Coordinate with architects and builders and visit job sites.
• Help shape studio standards and processes as the studio grows.
