Job summary

Nicole Arnold Interiors seeks a Lead Interior Designer to take greater ownership of luxury residential interiors and commercial office projects in the Dallas area. You will lead design directions, manage client relationships, and coordinate with a boutique team to deliver polished interiors from concept through installation.

The role emphasizes creative thinking, client leadership, and meticulous project execution, with collaboration under the Principal and autonomy to guide assigned projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional interior design experience
• Significant experience with high-end residential interior design and furniture sourcing
• Proven ability to independently manage significant portions of a design project
• Strong FF&E sourcing and specification experience
• Experience presenting designs directly to clients
• Strong space‑planning skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Chief Architect
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project-management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned residential and commercial design projects
• Develop sophisticated design concepts and translate them into complete spaces
• Work directly with clients and confidently present recommendations
• Source furniture, fabrics, lighting, art, accessories and custom pieces
• Collaborate closely with our Principal and design team
• Manage project details, budgets, timelines and vendor relationships
• Mentor and provide direction to less-experienced team members as appropriate
• Participate in installations and see your designs through to completion
• Attend industry markets, conferences and vendor events
• Continue developing toward greater design and project leadership within the firm
