Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee daily field operations on high-end interior construction projects in New York City. This in-person, full-time role requires strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with clients, architects, designers and the project management team.

The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors, ensure quality and safety, interpret drawings, and monitor progress against schedules.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of experience supervising high-end NYC construction projects.
Experience with high-end interior construction; luxury sectors preferred.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Procore experience preferred; MS Office; Bluebeam a plus.
OSHA 30-Hour certification and NYC SST card preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily field operations for high-end interior construction projects.
Coordinate subcontractors and trade partners and establish performance expectations.
Maintain an organized, safe, and productive job site.
Ensure field activities align with project schedules and objectives.
Utilize Procore to maintain daily logs, field documentation, and records.
Communicate with clients, architects and designers and provide project updates.
