Job summary

Venturi Astrolab, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electro-Mechanical Systems Engineer in Hawthorne, CA to lead the architecture, design, and qualification of electrical power and data networks for lunar rovers.

You will own end-to-end harness lifecycle from architecture to manufacturing specs, ensuring reliability in extreme lunar environments and mentoring engineers on avionics and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM is required.
• 5+ years in spaceflight avionics with wiring harness design experience.
• Knowledge of NASA/ESA space standards and space-grade connectors.
• Proficiency with CAD/EDA tools for harness routing and electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical interconnect and harness architecture for lunar flight systems.
• Define block diagrams, schematics, ICDs, and pinouts for subsystems.
• Oversee harness testing, assembly, routing, and spacecraft integration.
