PharMerica is hiring full-time Lead Pharmacy Technician in Vancouver, WA! Join PharMerica’s closed-door, non-retail pharmacy team and help behind the scenes supporting long-term care and senior living communities.

As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you’ll enter and process medication orders to ensure timely and safe patient care. You’ll work closely with pharmacists and operations teams to input prescription data, verify information, and maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or equivalent.
• Work experience: LTC pharmacy setting.
• Desired: Prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in orientation, training, competency assessment, and evaluation of Pharmacy Technicians.
• Monitors workflow and reassigns Pharmacy Technicians as needed.
• Prepares Pharmacy Technician schedules to meet the needs of the pharmacy.
• Fills prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy.
• Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders and ointments, which may include non-sterile compounding.
• Communicates with internal and external customers in a pleasant and professional manner.
