Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.

You will ensure care compliance with federal, state, and local standards, admit, transfer and discharge residents as needed, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and other staff to maintain a high level of quality care.

Formación

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and planned care delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Complete and file admission, transfer and discharge records.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Develop a good working rapport with inter-departmental staff.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Perform rounds with physicians as needed.
