Ohio Living is seeking a Charge Nurse - LPN to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and oversee day-to-day nursing activities in our Ohio facility. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards while delivering high-quality resident care.

You will administer medications, coordinate care plans with physicians, and participate in care plan meetings. Requirements include an active Ohio LPN license and at least one year of clinical experience; EMR proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered LPN license in Ohio.
• One year of clinical experience in hospital, long-term care, or related health care setting preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Directs day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Participates in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings and answers questions about the plan of care.
• Notifies physicians and families about changes in residents’ conditions.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges residents as necessary.
• Works with Unit Manager to reduce hospital readmissions.
• Attends meetings and in-service training as scheduled.
