Job summary

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing activities by nursing assistants.
• Plan shift services and activities with staff.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents and supervise staff.
• Complete and file resident records at admission/transfer/discharge.
• Receive and transcribe physician orders; chart nursing notes.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and ensure privacy.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure quality care.
