Job summary

Qualifications

• Current LPN license issued by the State of Iowa.
• Clinic/physician office experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs and initiate appropriate procedures.
• Coordinate with health care team and assess patient data.
• Provide patient education and explain treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Perform basic nursing tasks (vitals, rooming, procedures, immunizations, injections) under supervision.
• Maintain aseptic technique during procedures and medication administration.
