Job summary

Sonata Vero Beach is seeking a dedicated nursing supervisor to lead the wellness team and ensure high-quality resident care.

You will supervise HHAs and CNAs, perform rounds, monitor patient conditions, and administer medications per physician orders in a respectful, safe environment.

CPR certification and an active nursing license are required; the role focuses on compassionate care for seniors in a premier living community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current state license to practice nursing.
• Experience in geriatric care settings preferred.
• Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.
• CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HHAs, CNAs and facility staff.
• Make daily rounds of Assisted Living and retirement residents.
• Observe and report patient conditions to DOW/ED/physician.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available; order meds when needed.
• Orient new staff and assist with admissions and discharges.
