Job summary

Beach House is seeking an LPN to supervise the Wellness Department on their shift, coordinating resident care and delegating tasks to RCAs and MTs. The role reports to the Wellness Director and emphasizes compassionate care, professional demeanor, and accurate MAR documentation.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program background, an active LPN license in Florida, and at least two years of nursing experience, with preferred experience in assisted living and dementia care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must hold a current LPN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience in assisted living and dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delegates work assignments to ensure effective shift coverage.
• Supervises delivery of personal care to residents during the shift.
• Administers medications according to physician orders and documents on MAR.
• Leads shift with RCAs and MTs, coaching and counseling as needed.
• Keeps accurate resident charts and monitors health status changes.
• Reports safety concerns and changes to the Wellness Director as required.
