Job summary

Heights Care & Rehab in Colorado is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse for the day shift (6:00 AM–6:00 PM), with Wednesday–Saturday availability. Earn $36–$43 per hour and enjoy 12-hour day shifts with additional hours available.

You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, supervise CNAs, and coordinate care while documenting accurately. Your leadership and collaboration will help ensure resident safety and comfort, contributing to a positive, well-managed day.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado LPN license required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills required.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities required.
• Dependable, organized, and resident-focused.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the care team.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight during the day shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Assess residents and promptly identify changes in condition.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Supervise and support CNAs to ensure outstanding resident care.
• Coordinate care and communicate important updates throughout the day.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Help create a safe, positive, and compassionate environment for residents and staff.
• Support a smooth transition of care between shifts.
