Job summary

National Church Residences seeks an LPN Charge Nurse for full-time 6a-6p shifts in Ohio. You will supervise, provide and direct nursing care in accordance with policies and regulations, and lead a team to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will perform rounds, develop care plans, manage medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with physicians, families and staff to maintain safety and dignity for residents.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a vocational school of practical nursing.
• Experience: One to two years preferred.
• Mental: Must have good communication, comprehension and interpersonal skills. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Skills: Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet; good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, provide and direct nursing care in compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Make observations on an advanced level; report and record observations appropriately; form nursing judgments and carry out nursing actions.
• Interpret policies to staff, families and physicians and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement accurate comprehensive care plans; manage medications and MAR/TAR updates.
• Supervise nursing assistants and coordinate with Unit Managers/Director of Nursing.
