Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking an LPN Charge Nurse for a full-time 6a-6p shift in Ohio. Under the Director of Nursing, you will supervise, provide and direct nursing care in accordance with procedures, policies, and regulations.

You will perform daily rounds, develop care plans, oversee medications, and ensure accurate documentation. Strong communication and leadership skills are required to coordinate care with staff, residents, and families.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or vocational nursing program.
• Experience: One to two years preferred.
• Licensure: Current LPN license and ability to practice in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, provide and direct nursing care in compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Perform daily rounds, develop and implement comprehensive care plans; manage medications and MARs.
• Assign nursing assistants and monitor performance; provide coaching and training as needed.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, peers, managers and visitors; report changes promptly.
• Document resident information timely, accurately and confidentially according to procedures.
