Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or practical nursing program.
• One to two years of experience preferred.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, provide and direct nursing care in compliance with facility policies.
• Perform daily rounds and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Monitor medications administration and accurate MAR/TAR updates.
• Assign nursing assistants and supervise their performance.
• Communicate resident status and changes to staff, families, and physicians.
• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards.
• Document resident information timely and confidentially.
• Participate in staff meetings and inter-disciplinary teams.
