Laurel Lake Retirement Community, Inc. seeks a licensedPractical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established standards and physician orders.

You will administer medications, monitor for changes, and communicate with the care team to ensure high-quality resident care. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Current Licensure for Practical Nursing in the State of Ohio (Ohio LPN).
• BLS Certification (CPR/First Aid) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents according to standards, policies, and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to Nurse Manager or Physician.
• Complete admissions, discharges, and transfers as assigned.
• Serve as charge nurse for the unit/shift and supervise CNAs and nursing staff.
• Document care, medications, and treatments accurately and timely.
• Address resident, family, and staff concerns professionally.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and emergency procedures are followed.
• Participate in QA and performance improvement activities.
