Job summary

Vinfen is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse II to lead nursing care in a medically intensive program for individuals with brain injuries, developmental delays, or intellectual disabilities. The role requires implementing care plans, supervising CNAs, and coordinating with RNs while upholding dignity and person-centered practices.

You will document care, manage medications, and ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and therapeutic engagement for residents, within Vinfen's supportive environment

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse in Massachusetts is required.
• Experience with developmental, intellectual disabilities or brain injury preferred.
• Bi-lingual/bi-cultural applicants encouraged.
• Driving is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement treatment plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living per individual plans.
• Perform skilled nursing tasks including wound care and nutritional support.
• Monitor clients for changes in status and report promptly to supervisor.
• Supervise CNAs during shifts and ensure timely, accurate care.
• Document nursing care and medication administration per policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and respect client choices.
