Job summary

R/S Electric Corp is an Electrical Contractor that provides design-build services for a range of industries. The company is seeking an experienced low-volt technician to serve as the Lead technician for the low-volt team and to lead project work from our St.

Joseph, MO location. Ideal candidates should demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in structured cabling, fiber installation, intruder detection, access control, video surveillance, or fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s Degree or Technician Certificate from an accredited college or technical school.
• NICET Certification.
• BCSI Certification.
• Relevant manufacturer certification.
• Knowledge of network systems.
• General electronics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the low-volt team on projects.
• Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of low-volt systems.
• Ensure safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with other trades at job sites.
• Maintain documentation and reporting.
